image

A picture placed from a source URL or upload, drawn inside a box with optional rounded corners and border.

When to reach for it

Against icon, the deciding factor is the artwork: use image for logos, photographs and anything you supply yourself, and icon for a symbol from the built-in set whose colour and stroke weight you want to control.

Worth knowing

fit defaults to cover, which crops the picture to fill the box; switch it to contain to keep the whole image visible.
