table-v2

A grid built from explicit rows and cells, where header, body and footer rows are laid out individually and cells can span columns or rows.

When to reach for it

Against the legacy table, the deciding factor is control: reach for table-v2 for every new grid, and especially when you need merged cells, a totals footer, or a mix of static and bound cells in one row.

Worth knowing

Binding to an array regenerates the columns and replaces all body rows — per-column styling survives because columns are re-matched by header label, but per-cell overrides on body rows are discarded.
