Zoom and small papers
The designer canvas zooms from 25% to 400%. At 100% the canvas matches the printed size.
Zoom in and out
| Action | How |
|---|---|
| Zoom in / out | The + / − buttons, or ⌘ / Ctrl with + / - |
| Back to the opening zoom | ⌘ / Ctrl 0 |
| Zoom around the pointer | ⌘ / Ctrl + mouse wheel, or pinch on a trackpad |
| Pick a level | Click the % label for a menu: Fit width, then 50% to 400% |
The buttons and keys step through 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 200, 300 and 400%.
Small papers open fitted
Papers narrower than A5, such as receipts, labels and cards, would be tiny at 100%. They open fitted to the pane (between 100% and 300%). A4 and larger open at 100%.
The fit runs again when you open a different document, and when you change the paper yourself. It does not run when you resize the window. If a teammate or an undo changes the paper, it only re-fits while you haven't zoomed by hand.
A new draft keeps its zoom when you first save it.
Zoom is yours alone
Zoom is per viewer. It is never stored in the template, so it doesn't affect the PDF or what your teammates see.
